37 Week Update

I had my 37 week OB appointment today. I had an ultrasound to check on the size of the baby and he is measuring 5lbs 12oz. I am 1 cm dilated and it looks like things are progressing and Baby V is in the right position to deliver. If I haven't gone on my own naturally I am scheduled to be induced the morning of Wednesday, March 11. I continue to workout and take Georgia for long walks in the hopes of pushing him along. I'm ready!

Belly Bumpin

I recently met my friend Amie for lunch in Alabama while she was visiting her husband in Pensacola, FL. She is about to move to Yuma, AZ so this was the last time we would see eachother for a while. Here is a pic of us and our bellies....me at 35 weeks, Amie at 23 weeks. Amie is expecting a little girl in June and we are both excited for our little one's to meet!

More Baby Showers!

Friday night we had a baby shower social with our couple's bible study group. Two other girls in the group are also pregnant and due within a week of me. It was a lot of fun and we received so many nice gifts. We have been so blessed to find such a great group of Christian friends.
Saturday we traveled to Columbus for what I thought was a late birthday lunch for Eric. Little did I know that it was really a surprise baby shower for me. Eric's mom and his brother's fiance Andrea organized the shower.....we had great food, games, gifts, and cake! Here are some pics...

Girls Weekend

I recently traveled to Wintergreen, VA for my friend Meredith's bachelorette weekend. We stayed in a awesome place right on the slopes. I was unable to join in the skiing and snowboarding but I'm glad I was able to be there for moral support. :) Now I just hope I can make it to be in the wedding which is four days after my due date!
