Linc is 9 months!

Lincoln is now 9 months old!  We call him our cheese-ball since he always has a smile for us or anyone who talks to him or even just walks by.  He has 4 little teeth to show off and loves to do so!  He is not officially crawling but moves around pretty well and can scoot from one place to another....usually trying to follow his big brother and reach his toys.  He is also a great eater and does not turn down much we give him.  Linc started sleeping through the night consistently about a month ago so we are all happy about that!  We love seeing him grow and learn new things.  Here are some recent pics of my happy little man!

Hayden's Summer

There is only one week left before Hayden goes back to school and it is pretty much the first week we have had no plans!  Hayden enjoyed a lot of camps, visits from family, and our recent vacation at the beach.  We have had a lot of great play dates with friends and have enjoyed Eric's lighter schedule being on a 6 month research rotation.  Hayden will go back to school the Tuesday after Labor Day and he is excited to be in the "older class".  Here are some pics from Hayden's Summer 2013!

Outer Banks Vaca 2013

This year for vacation we headed back to the Outer Banks.  We stayed at a great house in Corolla with my parents and my sister's family.  The weather was awesome all week and the kids had a blast swimming in the pools, going to the beach, and just enjoying all the great outdoor activities.  Lincoln was a great little traveler.  We took him on walks every morning and evening to the sound with the big kids.  Hayden, Ryan, and Sarah enjoyed rock skipping and tree climbing along the way.  Eric and I were able to run in a 5k together like old times and we were even able to meet up for drinks with friends that were also vacationing in the area.  Eric took the older kids a few times to the beach at night to fly a kite and search for sand crabs.  It was a great week and we enjoyed having so much family time!  When we got in the car at 5:30am to leave, Hayden said "that was a really fun vacation!"  I uploaded about 400 pictures....here are some of my favorites...
