Sugarloaf Mountain Hike

Last Sunday we decided to make a trip to Sugarloaf Mountain for a morning hike.  The weather was cool but sunny which was perfect.  We hiked about 2 1/2 miles stopping to take in the views along the way.  There were two pretty tough climbs which Hayden did great with.  Lincoln rode daddy's shoulders for the really tough parts but mostly walked holding mine or Eric's hand.  Hayden was singing along the way...."I'm a hiking ninja....I'm a hiking ninja."  He also said hiking is fun because it is good exercise and its nice to be outside.  Here are some pics from our family hike...

Lots of steps but Lincoln did them all on his own

Easter 2016

We had a great Easter weekend in Maryland!  The Friday before Easter I had the boys paint plastic eggs in the morning and then we dyed eggs in the evening once Eric got home from work.  Our church did a Saturday night Easter service so we were able to attend that after going to DC to see the cherry blossoms.  On Easter Sunday we headed down to my parents after the boys were up and had gotten their baskets from the Easter Bunny.  :)  Here are some pics from our Easter weekend...
