Baby Shower

My sister Vicki had a baby shower for me at my mom's house during our trip home to MD for Christmas. A lot of my family and friends were able to make it and it was great to see everyone. I received so many baby gifts it was hard to fit it all in the car home. Baby V will definitely have everything he needs! Thanks to my sister and everyone for making this a special day for us! 25 weeks

Many people have been asking for the belly shot. I am 25 weeks now and have started getting the random belly rubs. :) I guess this means I am finally starting to look pregnant. Baby V is very active now....I think sometimes he is doing Tae Bo in my belly. Eric thinks he's going to be a soccer player. Either way it is very exciting to see and feel his movements.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We spent Thanksgiving with Eric's family this year in Georgia. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed spending time with all of his family. We are thankful for all of our family and friends and all the blessings we have had in the last year.

Weekend in Savannah

We traveled to Savannah, Georgia this past weekend with our friends Matt and Teresa. We stayed at a beautiful Bed & Breakfast, the Foley House Inn, in the historic district. Chippewa Square, right in front of the B&B and the church behind it were the location for Forest Gump sitting on the bench telling his story. We walked all over the historic district of Savannah including a twilight Ghost Tour. We visited the Telfair Museum and Owens-Thomas House and had a romantic carriage ride at sunset. One day was spent out on scenic Tybee Island which included a tour of a lighthouse dating back to 1736. It was a great weekend, good food and good times with friends.

Maryland Halloween

Eric and I flew home for a long weekend to Maryland to visit my family. We were excited to find out the sex of the baby before traveling so we could register and do some shopping with my mom. It was fun picking out all the baby stuff. I realized I was pretty clueless on what is needed so I was happy to have my mom and my sister help me. We were also able to spend lots of time with my new niece Sarah and go trick or treating with my nephew Ryan.

It's A Boy!!!

We found out today that Baby V is a boy! We are very excited! Angie's due date is March 17th. Halfway there!

A New Vaillant

Georgia was added to the Vaillant family on Sunday, October 19th. We went to the pet store just for fun and fell in love with the sassy but sweet Boston Terrier.

Montgomery Zoo

Eric's sister and brother-in-law came to visit us this weekend in Montgomery. We took a trip to the zoo with his niece Emma on Saturday. It was a beautiful day!Tammy, Wayne, and Emma

Adventure Race

Eric and his younger brother Sean competed as a team in an adventure race in Wetumpka, AL yesterday. The race included running, mountain biking, repelling, canoeing, and swimming. They finished the race in 4 hours and 50 minutes. It was very tough but they had a lot of fun.

Eric's parents had a family party last weekend at their home in Columbus, GA. It was great to see everyone!

14 Weeks Prego

Angie is now 14 weeks pregnant and had a Dr's appt. yesterday. It was our first appointment with our doctor and Eric was able to be there. Everything looks normal and we were able to hear the baby's heartbeat. 6 more weeks and we'll be able to find out if Baby V is a boy or a girl. We can't wait!

We're Pregnant!

We found out on July 25th that we are pregnant. Angie is at 13 weeks and feeling great.

Sweet Home Alabama

We just moved from Sacramento, CA to Montgomery, AL. Quite a change! We moved into our new apartment on July 22nd. Eric will be a flight surgeon at Maxwell Airforce Base for 2 years. Eric is currently in San Antonio, TX for a 6 week flight training but will return home on September 16th.
