More Baby Showers!

Friday night we had a baby shower social with our couple's bible study group. Two other girls in the group are also pregnant and due within a week of me. It was a lot of fun and we received so many nice gifts. We have been so blessed to find such a great group of Christian friends.
Saturday we traveled to Columbus for what I thought was a late birthday lunch for Eric. Little did I know that it was really a surprise baby shower for me. Eric's mom and his brother's fiance Andrea organized the shower.....we had great food, games, gifts, and cake! Here are some pics...

Girls Weekend

I recently traveled to Wintergreen, VA for my friend Meredith's bachelorette weekend. We stayed in a awesome place right on the slopes. I was unable to join in the skiing and snowboarding but I'm glad I was able to be there for moral support. :) Now I just hope I can make it to be in the wedding which is four days after my due date!

Empathy Belly

Eric and I recently started childbirth classes which have been very informative and fun. I especially like how the instructor tries to make the dad's suffer along with the mom's. I had to share this photo of Eric wearing the empathy belly. Its a 35lb weighted pack to simulate what it feels like to be pregnant. Eric came straight from work so he was also sporting his flight suit which I thought was a great look! :)

Disney Marathon

We traveled to Orlando, FL this past weekend for the Disney World Marathon. This was Eric's second marathon and he had been training hard for months. His time was 3:53:36 which was just under his goal. One of my best friends Jessi also ran the race and was happy to complete her first marathon. I was so proud of both of them as I traveled to different locations along the race to see them. I think I walked a half marathon over the weekend so me and Baby V were very tired. Eric and I were also able to fit in a trip to Epcot and the Magic Kingdom. It was a great weekend!

Christmas Pics

For the first time, Eric and I spent Christmas together in MD with my family. It was great getting to share all our family traditions with him. We spent a week at home and had lots of fun. We were also able to spend some time with friends. Here are a few pics with friends and of my niece and nephew on Christmas Morning....
