Easter 2014

This year we spent the majority of Easter weekend at home.  On Saturday, we dyed and decorated eggs and attended Easter Service at our Church.  The Easter Bunny left lots of fun stuff for the boys on Easter morning.  Hayden was up first so he was excited to look through his basket and show daddy everything!  Lincoln was up a couple hours later and big brother helped him look through his basket and bucket. 

My sister had to work Easter morning so we headed to Fredericksburg to meet up with the family and do our egg hunt with cousins.  Lincoln was napping during the hunt but he had fun outside most of the day.  My mom made a great dinner and the big kids played outside until dark.  It was a great weekend!  Here are some pics.....

Spring Break

This past week Hayden was off school for Spring Break.  After our trip to DC on Monday we kept busy with more Spring Break fun.  Tuesday Hayden had his morning swim lesson and we caught up on things around the house.  On Wednesday we signed him up for a Spring Day Camp at Pump It Up.  He enjoyed jumping and crafts for 5 hours and came home pretty worn out.  On Thursday we had a play date with friends.  The kids decorated buckets and cupcakes and watched a little bit of the movie HOP.  Friday, Eric was post call so we took a trip to the Baltimore Zoo.  Friday was also the start of Eric's week of vacation!  On Saturday he took the boys to Meadowbrook park to play and then attend their KidsFest event.  They had bouncy houses, slides, and games.  Hayden usually is not happy when he doesn't have school but I think we kept him busy enough not to miss it too much.  :)  Here are some pics from the week....

Cherry Blossoms 2014

Monday was the start of Hayden's Spring Break from school and Eric was post call so we decided to take a little trip to DC to see the Cherry Blossoms.  At first Hayden did not think going to see trees sounded too exciting but I am pretty sure he had fun in the end.  :)  We took a picnic lunch and enjoyed the beautiful Spring day!  Here are some pics.....

Grammy's Birthday Weekend

This past weekend we headed down to St. Mary's County to visit with my family and celebrate my moms birthday.  I took the boys down early on Friday to spend the day with Grammy & Pops.  Hayden and Lincoln had fun playing outside and they both got to take a ride on Pops' 4-wheeler.  I had an Origami Owl Party at a friends house that night so Grammy and Pops put the boys to bed.  Eric drove down early on Saturday and we spent the day playing outside.  My sister came down late Saturday so the big kids were up late playing t-ball outside.  On Sunday, we took some Spring photos of the family and the cousins.  For all their hard work smiling for the camera, Grammy prepared an Ice Cream Sundae bar for after.  We also had a cake for Grammy and sang Happy Birthday of course!  It was a great weekend with the fam!  Here are some pics.....

Hayden's 5th Birthday Party!

This past weekend we celebrated Hayden's 5th birthday at Skyzone (an indoor trampoline park) in Columbia, MD.  We had our own private jumping space and the kids had a blast.  We had an hour of jumping time but it seemed like most of the kids were pretty beat after 45 minutes.  Eric, Lincoln and I were also able to get out there and jump and it was definitely a good workout.  Hayden had such a great time celebrating with his family and friends!
