Snow Days

We've had quite a few small snow storms here near Baltimore. No matter how cold it is Hayden loves to be outside. He loves his snow boots and would probably wear them everyday if allowed. Fortunately it has worked out that Eric has been able to take him out to play. I run out to get the pics but do not do cold! :) Here are some photos from our snowy winter.

We definitely need to buy a sled....but Hayden had fun!

We had snow day #4 today. Eric took Hayden out and of course Georgia had to go too. They were outside in the 30 degree weather for an hour. I decided I had enough photos for the season and stayed in the warm house. :) Winter has been great but now I am looking forward to Spring!

New Years Eve 2010

For New Years Eve this year we drove to my sister's in Fredericksburg, VA. Grammy and Pops watched all the kids overnight so we were able to go out with my sister and brother-in-law, Vicki and Sam. We got a hotel in Richmond and went out to dinner at Ruth's Chris. It was the first time we've been able to go out as couples since we've been married so it was great to spend some time with them. After dinner we went to a bar and played darts which was lots of fun (Eric and I won 2-1) :).

Christmas 2010

This year we celebrated Christmas at our house which was so nice. We had an early Christmas at my sister's a few days before and then my family traveled to us for Christmas Day. Eric was working nights that week which worked out well because he was home in time for Christmas morning. Eric had 5 days of vacation the week of New Year's and his parents came to visit us during that time. We had lots of fun with all the family and Hayden was spoiled again. Here are some pics and a video from the holidays....

My nephew Ryan got a Big Foot toy for Christmas. Hayden was a little freaked out by it. I caught this video of him very cautiously watching this new crazy gorilla man.

Our Biggest Blessing

Hayden Lucas

Hayden and I spent Thanksgiving day at my sister's house in Fredericksburg, VA. My parents were also there and we had a great dinner. Hayden just loves to play with his cousins Ryan and Sarah. Eric was on call the Thursday and Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend but he drove all the way to see us after work on Friday morning and left early Saturday morning to drive back. We are very grateful for such a great husband and daddy. My mom and sister stayed with the kids on Friday so we could do a little Christmas shopping and go out for a lunch date. We have so many things to be grateful for this year and we thank God every day for His many blessings in our lives.
