Cherry Blossom Festival 2015

Last Sunday we decided to head into DC to see the Cherry Blossoms.  We went last year a little past peak but this year they were perfect.  There were beautiful white and pink Cherry Blossoms everywhere and it was a cool but sunny day.  The boys threw the football around for a bit and it was so nice to have lunch and relax by the water.  Lincoln was a little too brave near the water but he seemed to love the scenery around him.  Of course we took lots of photos!  Here are some of my favs.....

Easter 2015

This year for Easter we traveled down to my parents house in St. Mary's County.  We stayed Saturday to Sunday so the Easter Bunny followed us to Grammy and Pops'.  On Saturday, we dyed eggs and played outside most of the day.  Sunday morning Hayden was super excited to see his basket and all the goodies the EB brought.  Lincoln was not all that impressed with his basket but we know he will enjoy fishing with big brother and daddy this year.  My sister came down with her kids late morning and we did our Easter egg hunt in the afternoon.  We hid over 100 eggs so they were occupied for quite a while. We also celebrated Grammy's birthday that afternoon.  Here are some pics from the weekend and video of Linc hunting eggs....

Georgia 2015

We made our annual trip to Georgia to visit Eric's family the last week of March.  Eric was also in one of his best friend's wedding so we took the opportunity for Nana and Papu to watch the boys.  We flew out Wednesday morning and the boys did awesome on the plane.  The boys sat together and mommy sat on the aisle slightly behind which worked well because Lincoln forgot I was there.  :)  The boys napped on the car ride to Columbus,GA so the travel day went pretty well.  We all stayed in Columbus until Friday and had fun going to Oxbow Meadows on Thursday to see turtles, crocodiles, and snakes.  On Friday morning Eric and I left for Rome, Georgia for Mac and Ansley's wedding weekend.  Rome is about 3 hours from Columbus so we stopped for breakfast on the way.  Once in Rome we did a little shopping then met up with Mac, the groom, for lunch.  Friday night we attended the rehearsal dinner which was at a really nice bar/restaurant.  Saturday we had lunch with friends before the guys had to head out for early pictures before the wedding.  The wedding was at a beautiful chapel on the campus of Berry College.  The reception after was lots of fun and we had a great time celebrating Mac and Ansley.  We headed back to Columbus on Sunday morning.  Nana and Papu kept the boys busy while we were gone but I was excited to get back the them.  On Sunday we had family dinner with the whole family which was nice.  On Monday we were able to go to our nephews tee-ball game and everyone came back for dinner after.  We flew out on Tuesday afternoon.  It was a great trip and it was so great to see Eric's family and get the chance to get away for a couple days together too!  Thank you Nana and Papu for taking such good care of the boys!  Here are pics from the week away....
