Lake Anna Weekend

The first weekend in May we had planned a trip to Lake Anna with friends and family.  Eric and I drove home from house hunting in Virginia on Thursday and then we headed back to the lake in Virginia the next morning with the boys.  My parents met us there along with two of my best friends from home and their parents.  We had 10 adults and 3 kids and the house was a perfect fit for everyone.  It was a little rainy on Friday so the boys did a little fishing and we played board games and foosball.  After the kids were in bed, the adults played catchphrase which was a blast.  Saturday was a cool but sunny day.  We were able to relax on the pier, fish, kayak, and play on the mini beach.  Saturday night we cooked out and then hung out around the fire pit for smores.  The adults got a little more competitive that night playing the card game Pitch.  We had to check out Sunday morning but the boys fit in a little more fishing.  We had a blast and it was the perfect way to celebrate the news that we would be moving to Virginia this summer!  Here are some pics from the weekend...
