Backyard Camping 2015

A couple of weeks ago, we decided to do some backyard camping with Hayden on a Friday night.  It was a hot day but it cooled off enough at night that is was comfortable to sit outside, make smores on the fire pit, and for the big boys to sleep outside in the tent.  Lincoln helped with tent set-up and got to play inside for a bit before it was his bedtime.  Once it got dark me, Eric, and Hayden sat outside with glow sticks chatting by the fire.  We finished with yummy smores, a toad sighting, and reading before bed.  The boys came in around 6:30am the next day which is Hayden's normal wake up time so I'd say it was a success.  One day we will go camping for real, but until then the backyard is pretty fun too.  :)  Here are some pics from the night....
