The day after Hayden's last day of Kindergarten, he and I boarded a plane for Georgia for him to spend a week at Nana & Papu's. We told him about it a month out and he was super excited. We knew he would miss us, but we were also confident he could handle the time away. He was most excited about Nana & Papu's pool and spending time swimming with his cousins. On our last visit we had tried to take him to an aerial course in Columbus, but it didn't work out, so that was also on his list of things to do while there. While there he was also able to attend his cousin Ashton's first birthday party, he celebrated Father's Day with Papu and the rest of the family, he saw Jurassic World with cousins, and also went bowling. They were in the pool everyday of course, and Papu helped him get better with his swimming. Nana and Papu flew him back a week later, and he was super excited to tell us all about his week. We hope this is something he can do every year in the summer and eventually Lincoln can join in on the fun. :) We are so grateful to Mel & George for taking such good care of our big boy and giving him an awesome experience.
