Halloween 2013

Months before Halloween Hayden had decided he wanted to be Peter Pan.  I was surprised by this since I don't think he has actually ever seen the movie.  We thought he would probably change his mind 5 times before Halloween but he was set on it.  We have never dressed up as a family before but we jokingly started talking about what characters we would be.  In the end, I was in a bright green Tinkerbell costume.  The things  you do for your kids.  :)  Hayden loved having mommy and daddy dressed up with him so it was so worth it. Here are some pics from all our Halloween day!
Hayden was able to wear his costume to school on Halloween.  He was so excited to see all his friends dressed up.

Go Dawgs!

Last weekend Eric traveled to Georgia to meet up with some of his boys for the weekend.  He flew into Atlanta where he met up with his hometown/college friends, Elijah and Mac.  From there they drove to their college town Athens, GA.  Eric took me there once when we were dating and it was pretty cool.  :)  The guys had tickets to the University of Georgia game on Saturday.  It had been a long time since Eric had been to a game so I know he was excited to go.  Unfortunately the Dawgs lost but he said it was a great time.  During the 4th quarter they were able to watch the game from box seats and hang for a little after.  I'm glad Eric had a chance to get away with his friends!

While Eric was gone, I took the boys down to visit my parents.  It was a rainy weekend but Hayden had fun playing with Pops.  Lincoln enjoyed exploring Grammy's house and found a lot more he could pull up on there.  We watched most of the game and I had the boys decked out in Georgia gear.  Hayden thought it was cool that daddy was at the game but I think he was a little jealous he was not with him.  Eric promised to take him one day.  On the way to the airport Hayden told Eric to be sure to tell his friends about his "kid".  Needless to say, the boys were super excited to have daddy back on Sunday night.  Here are some pics from the weekend....

Fall Fun 2013

We have visited two pumpkin farms in the last few weeks.  First we made a quick trip to Weber's Cider Mill in Parkville, MD to get some pumpkins and let the boys play.  Lincoln had his first hayride and really seemed to enjoy it.  Hayden always loves the hay maze and the hill slide.

A couple of weeks later Hayden's class had a field trip to Gaver Farm in Mount Airy, MD.  Hayden had a blast playing with his school friends.  Eric was also able to come so it was a very nice family day.  Lincoln enjoyed watching all the kids play and really wanted to get in on the action.  We love Fall in Maryland!

Georgia Visit & Aquarium

This past weekend I traveled to visit one of my best friend's in Georgia.  I flew in to Atlanta on Friday afternoon to see my friend Stephanie and finally got a chance to meet her newest little one Taylor, who was born 3 weeks before Lincoln.  Friday night I had fun just hanging out with the Williams family and catching up.  On Saturday, Stephanie hosted an Origami Owl party and then we had dinner plans in Buckhead.  We enjoyed dinner at a nice Sushi place and then went to a cool outdoor bar for a drink after.  I flew home Sunday....I always miss my boys but it was great to get some time with Stephanie, Pat, Kyle, and Taylor.  Now we are planning her visit to meet Lincoln in the near future.  :)  I did not get many pics but here are a couple we captured on our phones.

While I was away Eric took the boys to the Baltimore Aquarium.  It was Lincoln's first trip and he loved it.

Sunday afternoon it was pretty warm in Maryland so we broke out the baby pool one last time.  It was a great end to a great weekend.  No more traveling for momma for a while and I am perfectly content.  :)  I am always grateful to Eric for the weekends away but I am truly happiest at home with my favorite boys.
